This robot sweeper and mopper is awesome! You let it discover a map of your house, then separate the rooms on the map. You can label the names of the rooms and define no-mop zones. You can then control the unit by simply instructing it to go vacuum the floor in the den, etc. The mop feature requires attaching the mop fixture, adding water to the unit, and emptying the reservoir after use. You can specify no-mop zones for carpet, wood floor, etc. You do have to leave it a path to get from the charger base to the floor to be mopped. This thing is genuinely fun. I immediately purchased a second unit for another part of my house so I can have two working on different areas at the same time. It is amazing to see it wake up, navigate to the area requested, then clean the floor - no "electric walls", etc. it stays where you tell it. When finished, it will navigate back to its base, then the vacuum on the base empties the dirt out of the unit ready for another instruction. It is also much quieter than other robot vacuums I have used. You do perform weekly and monthly maintenance to clean the unit and empty the vacuum cleaner like bag in the base. There is also a heavy dirt feature where the Dustin will go slowly and vacuum much stronger (this part is noisier) but it deep cleans the area. This is great for carpeted areas. Again - this unit is fun and easy to use and worth the price.
