  • Best Arcade Arcade Action Availble on the SNES

Classic gameplay, and by far the best game you can buy on the classic SNES platform that ever came close to what action arcade games should be. Also, it's the game that features actual characters from the Turtles TV show of the era, unlike other NES games... cough... the dam level... cough cough.... Seriously, this game is incredible. Especially throwing Foot soldiers towards Shredder... classic. Find a buddy and play this one 2-player though, if you want to see the ending on hard. Good luck!

  • Turtles are Timeless!

This is one of those games I waited for eagerly for the Super Nintendo. Having played the original arcade game and the NES versions, I expected the same kind of action that Konami is famous for. Join with a friend for double the fun beating up Foot Clan soldiers and their mutants. One thing this game is sadly missing is the four player option. There was an adapter available the following year from Hudson. Konami should have taken the initiative and created their own bundled with this game just as Super Bomberman had the Multitap. The graphics are impressive with vivid colors and the fast paced music keeps you moving along. The settings are imaginative in the different time periods of the past and the future. The game originally from 1991 was ported to the Super NES in 1992 and it is a timeless classic that holds very well to this day.

  • Nun-Chucks for days!

In the early 90's arcades and consoles were bursting at the seams with beat-em-up sidescroller games. Turtles in Time is a sincerely clever title in this genre and makes for an especially fun time with 2 players. For anyone who has played this in the arcade, the cartridge version is a breath of fresh air with difficulty options and an opportunity to save your quarters. While genre often suffered from redundant levels and enemies, Turtles in time keeps things interesting by putting you in different periods of world history and providing themed bosses to fit the era. There are a number of levels that break the monotony with hoverboards, and water crafts. Like other Konami games, there are codes to expand to help you start off on the right foot. The Turtles have an impressive repertoire of moves and the ability to throw opponents at the screen which proves to be a useful technique during a later boss battle. The game doesnt take itself too seriously as it provides similar comedic atmosphere to the Television program. While the game can get rather boring for a single player with no one to get hype with, the overall replay value of the game is tremendous. I hope to play it with my children when they are older. Other games in this genre you may want to consider: Super Double Dragon, River City Ransom, Sonic Blastman II, and Streets of Rage II.

  • Love this game!

One of the best SNES games! Brought back good memories, and my kids (4 & 7) loved it too. It felt great sharing that part of my childhood with them =). For those that haven't played: classic side-scrolling "beat 'em up", 2P coop, arcade action. Each level introduces new enemies, environments, and bosses to keep things interesting. Each turtle has slightly different stats, but play more or less the same.

  • Beat 'em up excellence!

I'm not a beat 'em up fan. I played a bit of Steets of rage 2 when i was young. I bought TMNT IV for my collection because it's a cult game. And boy did i loved it! Yeah k played on easy, with the extra life cranked up. But it was a blast! And i'm not even a TMNT fan either! The graphics are good, the gameplay is easy to take a hold of. The animations are charming!!! Loved loved loved it!

  • A shell of a good time

If you're a fan of the turtles and retro games and this is the title for you. I grew up on this game as a kid now 25 years later I still can't beat it but it's an absolute blast to play and you'll get many hours of enjoyment. So if you think you've got what it takes take a trip through time with the heroes in a Half-Shell...TURTLE POWER!!

  • Blast from the past

One of my favorite games of all time. Fun, classic arcade-style turtles game. Cartridge itself was in great shape and works like it's new. Story makes no sense but neither does the science of Ninja Turtles in general. TURTLE POWER!

  • It’s a classic

It’s my second favorite turtle game after NES TMNT 3 Manhattan project. It’s pretty easy and short but the hit detection, graphics, and overall mechanics are great. Staple to any SNES collection.

  • Not Original But Good

For the price I ordered it out of curiosity since this game usually goes for a lot more. The game plays just fine but it is definitely a reproduction and not an original cartridge, and there are strange things like how the screws on the bottom appear to be a part of the plastic molding and not actual screws. This is great for people who want to play the game without paying crazy prices, but not ideal for collectors who are looking for genuine original carts.

  • Best ninja turtles ever!

This is to me the best ninja turtles ever! This one belongs in every SNES collection. It's a short game but it's full on fun!
