Good value router at this price.
Price was a consideration so this was an economical solution compared to buying the latest, greatest router at full retail. The AC1900 was easy to set up, my various devices found and connected with no problems. An earlier N600 Belkin was not so easy to use and in fact did not work satisfactorily at all which is why I got the newer AC1900 for only another $20 or so. I disabled the USB, guest account, and never used the optional software in an attempt to keep signal strength as high as possible. So far, it works pretty well and I'm satisfied. My older Sony blueray/wireless player connects and works OK as well as several other devices, Roku, iphone, android phone, Iconia Windows 10 tablet, 3 laptops, a PC, & ipad mini all run on this wireless connection so this is a good option for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fast router for browsing and streaming, but not recommended for wi-fi gaming
Fast reliable wi-fi router for browsing and streaming, if that's your primary use, then this is a great router. The ethernet LAN connections are fast and reliable. The wi-fi connections are also fast. The only limitations is for wi-fi gaming. Although ping times are good, wi-fi jitter is rather high--generally between 20-60ms. This makes gaming activity requiring lots of real-time action and responses difficult (my D-link router's jitter is usually under 10ms). This nifty little item , will allow your wifi network to be controlled by the user , with parental controls you can decide when and who is on and when its time for them to be off the wifi ..it also allows your fast connections on the 5g side to be separated via passwords and allowing those connections to go to your need for speed devices ! it is nice to able to use the speed your paying for from your provider , had another router and all my connections were slower , it wasnt till the cable guy showed up and showed me the problem .. Not for a Wireless SAN
I was looking for faster transfer speeds with the USB port. The USB drive I connected to the back of the router can do 200MB/s when connected directly to my laptop and was less than 3MB/s with the router. Easy connect
Replaced an older Cisco router. The Belkin connected seamlessly with all my devices. It even took care of a sporadic wireless connection to my printer and the old router. The connection is solid and I no longer have to keep restarting the printer to connect. Easy setup pretty much plug and play if you follow the directions, set up everything in about 20 minutes. Connection speeds seem to be faster and I no longer have interference on my VoIP phone service. I am pleased with this product so far. Works great.
At first I couldn't get it to work on the 5GHz band. No error message to tell me what was wrong other than "Cannot connect." After messing with it for 2 days I took it into work. My laptop at work connected easily to the 5GHz band. I compared the network adapters in the device manager at work with those at home. Turns out there was a "virtual" network adapter left over from an older VPN on the home machine. I disabled it and the 5GHz started working. It's been working excellent ever since. My 2010 Acer with an Intel AC wifi card connects at 867Mbps. Phones, TVs and settop boxes connect on the 2.4GHz band easily. For the price I paid I'm extremely satisfied with this router. I'm sure routers that cost more would be better, but for the budget minded this is an excellent choice.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fast speed for low price
Upgraded from the Belkin AC750 to the AC1900. Was a breeze to set up. I always likes the AC750, but wanted better coverage throughout my home, and the AC1900 delivered! After using the Belkin AC1200 for a fee years now and being happy with its performance, I saw the opportunity to get the step up 1900 at a bargain price new.
