Schlage Sense Deadbolt Lock
We love this lock. We are Technology leary of installing automatic everything, but we really love the features this lock has to offer. Like the vacation suspension of codes, which allows you to suspend ANY codes on the lock while you are gone to prevent hackers hacking your lock while you are gone. Also love that it has a "key" back up. My phone did not charge overnight so it was dead in the morning, but I was still able to manually lock the door before heading off to work. Love, love, love this lock!! Installation was somewhat easy for me, as I am NOT mechanically inclined. Plus I had to call Schlage for some minor programming help, which I found the representative to be delightfully pleasent to talk with. Exactly What I Needed
This lock is not cheap, but it’s a good value for what you pay for it. Easy to install. Schlage provides an Installation video as well as a manual so installation took less than 30 minutes. I have a dog sitter for when I go out of town and I use to put my house key in a hide-a-key magnetic device and attach it to the top/inside of my mailbox for her. Not super secure!
