Overall view after use
Easy to start but run time is about 15min on very dry not overly long grass. Was set low though. Light and easy to push around. Could use lock on as hanging onto lever can get a bit tiring but then again it’s only for 15 mins so easy to put up with. Took nearly 3 hours to charge. Have to wait about 30 minutes for batteries to cool down before you can recharge (otherwise damages batteries so the book says). I have a 770 sq block with small house - wouldn’t want to use it for a bigger yard as it would take a few days to mow all of it. Good cut quality. Have ordered larger batteries and may even need 3rd set to finish my yard in a reasonable time. Overall it works. Not bad for the price and maybe the next one will be the more expensive brand (maybe). Would easily suit older persons with unit yard or very small block.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the Makita I would’ve chose but for a bit more than 1/3 the price.
40v what a ludicrous claim my 18v makita grass trimmer has more power. Does a job. Light. Could get your 5yr old kid to mow the lawn if it’s not too long. Very easy to operate despite my disbelief of the voltage claim and the two 2ah tiny little batteries. It does the small lawn I needed it for impressive really for a kids toy Be interested to see how long it keeps going and how quickly the cells lose the capacity to cut all I need to in one go. So I may have judged somewhat harshly I am comparing it to tools not toys.its a pretty red black and yellow Chinese racer for now if it goes for 4 years on the substandard battery cells I’ve received from China in the past I’d give it 4 star’s only had it two weeks or so used it twice doing the job so far but I’m a tradesman with real tools so when my 18v stuff has way more power to call it 40 v is false advertising but for all my complaining I’m not unhappy............yetVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reasonable for the money
You get what you pay for. The handles are a little flimsy but reasonable. A little difficult to put together. The grass catcher can be a pain to connect to the mower. Great little machine, throw's cut grass 1.5m with the back open. Very easy to move around. Cuts grass with ease. But batteries to small, 2ah, they do not last 30 minutes. I had to buy a second set of batteries which I will try when the rain stops.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Economical, does grt job, easily operated.
Really light easily handled goes grt as good as petrol mower we have as well cutting wise no pulling the darn cord grt for women to use more easily pushed and maneuvered and no petrol needed!! Works terrific no problems, so far battery lasted all the way on our lawns front and back we thought this would be the problem.
