Unlike previous models (DE31MS, A38-LMS) available through Anon-Co, the AN-48x is supplied with adapters to connect the antenna to BNC and RCA sockets. This greatly simplifies hooking up the antenna to TECSUN receivers like S-2000 and S-8800, while it is just as easy to use with H-501, PL-990, PL-880 and the rest of the "PL"-family.

Surprised By What I Got
I am very pleased with this device from Tecsun. I bought it in an attempt to improve my short wave listening in my bedroom. The antenna attaches cleanly to the window glass next to my bed and there is plenty of lead in wire to connect my radio almost anywhere in the room. It has made a great improvement in reception over the built in antenna attached that comes with the radio. What I didn't really know when ordering the unit is that it also came with so much more. (I was just interested in short wave and didn't look at the rest of the features closely when ordering) I had no idea I was getting a very useful stand for my radio, as well as an AM antenna stick that makes a great difference when seeking stations on the AM broadcast band. Just remember that it is very directional and should be rotated around for best reception. I have no idea how long the batteries will last, but the unit is well built and works. I could not believe how well this works on shortwave from 1700 through 30 MHz am/mw not so much. Have not tried long wave yet. Sufficient length miniature phono Jack to miniature phono Jack input to tuner length of approximately 24 feet have a huge bedroom and was able to hang antenna with telescopic rod and window and come across the room to where my bed is on opposite side and plenty of room left there to plug into the tuner I would recommend this product to anybody even twice the price take care of all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
