Delivering his lines and performing dashing acrobatics (he did most of his own stunts) with breezy elan, he darts across the intricate sets of THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD as if there are rocket boosters secreted in his tights. It was one of the earliest films to use three-colour Technicolor and, at the time, the most expensive film Warner Bros. had produced. Erich Wolfgang Korngold's outstanding score won an Oscar, as did the art direction and the editing.

An All Time Classic
If you've never seen this great film ... you are really missing out on a true Hollywood classic. Featuring Errol Flynn in the starring role and with Olivia De Havilland as Maid Marion it is a really engaging yarn. Basil Rathbone (also famous in his career as Sherlock Holmes), as the archetypal villain, and a great supporting cast ... give yourself a treat! Get yourself a copy! Errol Flynn is the best Robin Hood ever as he lights up the screen as in all his films The film is in glourious Technicolour and the acting is great including the marvelous Basil Rathbone. If you like a great film with great acting and an engaging movie, I highly recommend Robin Hood
