Great product! Necessary!
Controller works perfect! Came quick. Note: if you bought a thunderbolt solar system that comes with the controller, a back up is necessary!!! They are great but if the 20a fuse blows inside it will not work. And it is soldered in so replacement is not easy but doable. But why spend the time when for 15 bucks you have a back up. Plus the new versions do not have 3 single port LED light connection for ancillary hook ups or two USB connection. I must buy!!!

Thoroughly disappointed
I unhooked my old charge controller, connected the new one and within two hours it was warped and non functioning. Hooked my old one back up to the exact same connections and it is fine. This is either very poorly made or it could be just a defective one, but I would never buy another one.

Thunderbolt voltage regulator
I'm really not certain. Hasn't maintained a charge on thunderbolt battery, specifically for this unit. disappointed. Not sure if there is a process/set up procedure that I may not have done.
