better than paint remover
refinishers are better. they keep the antique glow and there is no mess. iv’e used it for forty years and always will. minwax makes a very good refinisher.

Nothing Better to Refinish Fine Wood Furnitire
This appears to be the old "Formby's" product I used 30-40 years ago. Works better than any of the newer products found in hardware or Big Box stores. Must use coarse steel wool for first removal and fine 0000 for final. Do not use any "pads" as they load up too quick.
