Strong EDC backpack
This bag is great for EDC. It has heaps of compartments and molle to help organise, and find your gear. It has a solid, stable harness with reasonable back ventilation. No waist strap (though there are buckles to attach one of desired) but those of average adult height and above probably wouldn't feel the need for one due to the bags relatively short height. I can load the bag up and cycle to work without the bag flopping about or causing balance issues. The solid construction, compartments and molle obviously add weight to the bag so if you are looking for a 'sports car-like' bag this is not the bag for you. If you are after a tough '4wd equivalent' bag that you can knock around and know it won't let you down, you should seriously consider the 5.11 Rush12. Great backpack. Very well built with absolute indestructible strength in mind. A little weighty if you’re looking for ultralight pack. Plenty of storage compartments and expandable via Molle webbing. I have abused mine extensively for over 12 months with not a single issue. Wife got tired of replacing cheaper backpacks every couple months due to seams or zips failing. Solid and spacious
This backpack is a great commuter with plenty of space for gear whether it be for work or a weekend travelling. It's very sturdy, possibly a little on the heavier side but the quality is very strong. I use it cycling to work and its been great to have so many compartments to store everything I need. I wouldn't run with it due to its weight and construction, I'd say it's more for ruggered use than streamlining simplicity. No water carrier on the outside so you'd need add that extra. Great value!
