Protect the bonnet from stone chips
We live in a country area, so the bonnet protector helps cut down on the number of rocks that may flick up and hit the bonnet. Has a lipped rear edge that encourages air upwards, so the rest of the bonnet is 'shielded' by the buffer of air, which also may help protect the windscreen from small stones. Is fairly easy to fit and only needs a screwdriver and a felt pen. Take care with installing the panel pins that the screws go into, for if they fall into the engine bay, they end up somewhere in the huge stone tray under the engine, where you have nearly no hope of getting them out. Local hardware store can sell wall anchors that can be used as replacements under a dollar each - much easier than trying to take off the under body tray to try and get the one you dropped. Can be a bit of a pain to wash under and can look a bit naff, depending if you like the 'tacked on bits' look. Not recommended to take on/off regularly. Build and plastic quality are good, feels nicely made. Clear stickers go between bonnet protector and paintwork to protect against vibration. Have not bought headlight protectors as figure that if the rock is big enough to break a plastic headlight, it will probably do more damage to other things anyway.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
