Good value and does what it claims for specific car. Durable and easy to use.
Wanted for air bag reset after window regulator replacement. Sales promised would work. It did work and more. Found a problem with Boxster variocam from codes that were read and further research on these codes. So this reader is a real value as just a read from local shop would cost more. And many readers do not reset air bag light on Porsche without paying much more. This does not actuate and test certain sensors or solenoids but it DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS!

This tool was 1/3 of the cost of other diagnostic tools. It worked flawlessly, and I cleared the airbag light on my 1999 Boxster in about 30 seconds. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the extremely small print on the instruction sheet, but that's a minor issue. This tool is terrific and saved me 200 bucks. A must for Porsche owners.

Just what I needed
I bought this, primarily, to reset the Service reminder that was displayed on the dash. There were several more expensive models, but this diagnostic tool is all that is needed. Simply take your time to familiarize yourself with the device & the rest is very intuitive. I would guess if you're buying a tool like this you probably know what you're doing & this should be no problem.
