Worth the price - good quality. I am pleased with all my DeWalt tools
I have a suite of DeWalt 20v tools. When my recip saw finally wore out after many years of use, I tried to save money buying that cobalt blue brand. They got good reviews from people but I don't know why - it wasn't suited for any kind of hard work and they had skimped on quality in ways that matter when you're in the middle of a project. So back to DeWalt I went. This particular item was a great price because it had no box or manual with it. The blue saw was similar in appearance, a light "one-handed" design but there the similarity ends. One important difference is the chuck. Both saws have a chuck you twist to change blades. The DeWalt has tabs on the chuck that not only makes it easier to twist but makes it so you don't have to grab the burning hot metal. This alone is enough to buy the DeWalt. The grief of a low quality tool will remain long after the pleasure of spending less if forgotten.

Great tool!
The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because there wasn't any manual with it. No instructions or spec sheet, definitely "bare tool only". The tool itself is great, It's well built, fits comfortably in my hand, & is easy to use. It's more powerful than another brand of sawzall that I have. I could have bought a less expensive brand & it probably would have got the job done, but there's a peace of mind that comes with having tools that won't break in the middle of a job.

I think I waited too long to get my hands on this saw. The size and shape of this saw makes it very convenient and easy to tackle different kinds of jobs whether you’re doing yard work, home remodeling, or wood working. This saw is very practical and it’s powerful enough to handle more demanding construction tasks. Also, the price for the value that you will get is excellent. I definitely recommend this saw.

lightweight easy to use
I have had one already two years and use it lots cutting up pallets, tree limbs and other small jobs. You do have to have several batteries charged up to use it long. But it very simple to change blades and handle. Very light weight. I just bought another one because my wife uses it lots too...
