Comedy as it used to be done
This programming was wholesome, varied, and involved hugely talented people who staged comedy like chamber music. I had forgotten how talented they were - singing, dancing, quick change of personas, regional accents, and ad lib jokes. Each was waiting for the other to crack up. Disappointed with the Ultimate Collection
Sometimes your memory plays little tricks on you & unfortunately that's what happened to me when remembering The Carol Burnett Show I watched growing up. I remembered the comic skits (that I loved) & chose to forget the musical numbers (that I'm not crazy about)......which in a nutshell explains my disappointment.
