Quality of video not great.
The quality of the video on the DVD was not great. It looked like a cam copy, Iike a 360p. I saw the video online at Disney's YouTube channel, and the quality there was much better like 720p. If this was a legit copy from Disney, how could the quality be worse on the DVD than what was online? Also the case arrived broken with plastic pieces loose. It was a miracle the pieces didn't scratch the DVD. That being said, the show was good. It aired on TV back in 1965 and was entertaining.

An Old Classic
A classic fairytale from the 1960's, simple, with real people, great music by Rodgers & Hammerstein. Love the background story that is included on the DVD. Watched this movie every year when it was broadcast on TV when I was growing up.

I loved this version of Cinderella since I was a little child. It is a musical done in true Rogers and Hammerstein style, which we would see once a year on our television set. This CD is beautiful and crystal clear. Love it!

A great movie and story for the whole family
If you want a great movie and story for the whole family by all means get this one, this tells the story about a young lady who is abused by her stepmother and stepsisters to work and keep up the house and she finally in the end with help from her Fairy Godmother finds her true love the prince himself. The music is great as well as the acting, this movie was made in the year 1965 and I saw this one when I was a kid and I really enjoyed it and I still do really like it even today. So get this one by all means you and the whole family will enjoy this one very much this brings back for me great memories when I was a kid.

A classic musical which brought back a lot of memories! The lyrics and melodies stay in your mind long after you've watched the movie. Star packed, w Walter Pidgeon and Ginger Rogers as the king and queen, Celeste Holme as the fairy godmother, a captivating 18 year old Leslie Ann Warren as Cinderella and Broadway star Stuart Damon as the prince, the music, the songs, the choreography, the color and the costumes, the drama and the fun, and stunning performances by all make this a very special viewing experience. Jo Van Fleet as the step mother, Pat Carroll and Barbara Ruick as the wicked step sisters bring new meaning to the word malicious as they mistreat Cinderella and try to romance the prince w equal elan. Fun is the best way to describe this event. It puts a smile on your face that just won't go away. Family fun! Just sit back and enjoy!

R & H Cinderella Trippin Back in Tyme!
Getting this level of entertainment for this price was beyond belief. I've been looking for this DVD for quite some time to share with my Social-Media-Age teenage daughter. It took us both back to a simpler place & time, where family entertainment actually meant just that. How fitting to receive the 50th. Anniversary Edition which she can add to her DVD movie collection. To see one of the most telling stories of how Boy meets Girl; and then to explain to her (my daughter) the look in the Princes eye when she (Cinderella) walks into the room that if it doesn't feel like that when you meet a guy then it's not Love! God knows what he's doing when he brings two people together, and if you feel Love like that it will last until death you do part! The dance, the song, ( I have found her she's an Angel) it's the feeling you get while watching and you see yourself in your own marriage (37 years for me) and you realize how lucky you've been, and you want that for your children.
