From a Basement on the Hill was originally released on October 19, 2004 on ANTIRecords and is now proudly re-issued by Kill Rock Stars-now home of all of Elliott's indie releases.

    the day i don't rate an elliott smith album 5 stars is the day my consciousness is truly lost to the void. & that day cannot come bc now i have this. if you listen once, prepare to join the cult. (if only Stickman had made it onto the record.. sigh.. look up "Grand Mal Studio Rarities" for the songs not included)
