    Live concert recording, not studio cuts

    I'm often not a fan of live concert recordings. The Blues Brothers Definitive Collection is a perfect example of why. The band was tight but John Belushi did not deliver the kind of lead vocals the songs require. It sounds as if he was merely acting the part of a musician. Studio recordings of the songs would likely improve on the quality of his voice. I was hoping for a jumpin' collection of standards, but am disappointed with the execution.
