Product Information

Players embark on the long and challenging journey from chump to champ in this film-inspired pseudo-sequel to Ubi Soft's 2002 Rocky. As in that original, the heart of this second game is its story-driven Career mode, but the sequel also follows the up-and-coming careers of opponents, such as Ivan Drago, Clubber Lang, and Apollo Creed, as well as the Italian Stallion himself. As they train as different boxers, players will chase chickens to increase speed and accuracy, work out in the tough urban environment of Clubber's gym, and make the most of Drago's high-tech Cold War exercise facilities. When they are ready for the ring, a succession of 40 film-inspired opponents awaits. A two-player mode is also available, and the game features a number of licensed music tracks from the successful film series.

Rocky Legends is a KO!
Awesome game! The menu has scenes in the background from all the movies, the authenticity goes into the ring design/ background, many more fighters to choose from, characters to fight as, and the famous music score comes on when the opponent is close to being knocked down, or vice versa. Graphics are pretty decent for a 2004 PS2 game. Only complaints would be the fact that no special effects, or movie footage (after the classic fights), and you aren’t able to simply unlock all the fighters, venues, videos, or trailers after completing career mode. You have to buy everything with the money you gain from career mode., and I do mean everything! That is a huge letdown, on this otherwise, amazing game! Unlike, the previous ROCKY game where everything was unlocked, upon completion. I’d recommend that you save, save, and save. At least, until you have enough $ for everything.
