Love isn't always at first sight.
This trilogy of movies constitutes some of the better family fare out there these days, and years after each of the films was originally aired, they still stand the test of time. It's wonderful whenever you watch a movie (in this case, "Sarah, Plain &Tall"), and, when it's over, find yourself wondering -- and genuinely CARING -- what happened to the characters in the story AFTER the story ended. It's even more wonderful when you have not one, but TWO more films which more than adequately answer that query, but leave you with a feeling of satisfaction that life is good and everything is going to be just fine. a great story line
This story is timeless in it's telling. It has good characters and reveals life as it once was for many who lived on the prairie during this time period. To many who live now in the modern luxury we take for granted, it will reveal the hardship of life they will never see. In this we see risks taken by a man and a woman who wants a little more out of life than what they have.
