Product Information

Intelligent, funny, adorable, and beautifully animated, MONSTERS, INC. will delight fans of SHREK and TOY STORY, while drawing a audience of curious, kid-friendly viewers. Billy Crystal and John Goodman make a fiercely funny comedic team as job partners and best friends, Mike (Crystal)-a little green guy with one huge eyeball, and Sulley (Goodman)-a big purple and blue fuzzy guy with dinosaur spikes down his back. Mike and Sully work at MONSTERS, INC., a gigantic corporation that captures the screams of little children and turns them into energy. To make the children scream, the monsters must enter each child's bedroom through the closet door, then deliver a frightening affront. The only problem is, kids aren't scared anymore. And because of this problem, Monsters, Inc. is in a jam. But when one little girl, Boo (Mary Gibbs), follows Sully through her closet door and into the factory, she brings an even more dire issue to the fore: the monsters are actually terrified of children. From Pixar Animation Studios, MONSTERS, INC. is an exciting adventure with a sweet, happy ending. Both the DVD and VHS releases include the animated short FOR THE BIRDS and a home video exclusive performance of "Put That Thing Back Where It Came From Or So Help Me" created by Mike Wazowski.

    Monsters, Inc. ( Two Disc Collector's Edition )

    What an awesome DVD movie for children....of any age. Very enjoyable. Expertly crafted and executed. The cast is exceptional as is the direction and plotline. Grandkids will want to view multiple times, so be prepared. I think the grand-parents will enjoy also, so sit down with your grandkids and get immersed in this joyful presentation.     One of the best movies of it’s time, and I always wanted a first edition dvd copy since I only had it on dvd. It’s in many ways different to what it was on dvd, as the bloopers are not shown during the credits, the short film before the film or the other short film after the credits and kept separately to the second disc. The Spanish version was not included unlike the vhs, but it’s all worth it, because the second disc shows how the film was made and it’s original plans.

    I'd never watched the whole movie clear through until I bought it, and I'm glad I did. It was very entertaining, and the characters were engaging. I'd say it's a good kids movie, too. I just wish the monster in my closet was as nice as Sully and Mike were.

    The imagination of the writer of this story is PHENOMENAL! Doors on tracks that transport the monsters to ANY CHILD'S BEDROOM with the touch of a few buttons! Then to have the MONSTERS be afraid of the CHILDREN! I've seen this movie dozens of times as I watched it with my children and now with my grandchildren. I NEVER want to be without a copy of this AWESOME Disney classic!
