I like the grip!
This is my second one of these because I like the style of the cover with the rubbery grip surface. But! The reason I had to get a new one is after much usage after a couple of years the rubbery grips start to separate from the hard plastic. No big deal. I just reglued each one for a while with super glue. Then it got annoying so I treated myself to a new one. I'm good for another 2 years now or till I upgrade the phone.

Speck states and their web site reflects, that they do not make cases for the Moto Z2 Play.
It's actually a good case, even if it is a forgery. There is an "authenticity" decal, on the back of the box.

Not durable
Case began peeling apart after only 3 weeks of use. Glue used to attach rubber grips to plastic case not adequate. Rubber is very thin and wore through quickly.
