Greatest Film Ever Made - Every Person Needs a Copy
Greatest movie attempt ever made to give but an overview of the coming of the Son of God - THE LORD JESUS CHRIST - and His life on Earth. There are a few minor inaccuracies that don't align with Scripture. For example, when Our Lord sent the disciples two by two - in the film it shows only the twelve however it was seventy disciples whom He sent. Also Our Lord remained on Earth with His disciples 40 days after He arose from the dead before ascending to Heaven. The suffering and cruelty the Romans inflicted on Our Lord is not portrayed as it was. In reality it was horrendous which Scripture records that Our Lord sweat drops of blood foreseeing the suffering and the weight of the sins of the world he was to bear as He prayed in the garden before being captured by the Romans. He was strengthened by an angel from Heaven. Our Lord also was born a Jew, therefore he didn't have blue eyes. However the movie has been made with reverence and respect to the Son of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ is God. This is a most beautiful film. Best of all - it is true and the most important story ever told! If you believe in the Son of God and follow Him, the Church He established - the Roman Catholic Church of Pre-Vatican II, you will reach Heaven (and not go to Hell). This is the reason God came to Earth, suffered and died - to save many who will believe and turn to Him so they do not go to Hell. The body dies, but the soul will live forever. The question is where? Heaven or Hell? The Church teaches God will resurrect the body at the end of time. It will be a body that will never age or fall ill. Glory be to God.
