Wish I'd bought one years ago!
I wish we had bought an air purifier years earlier as I am allergic to dust mites. We got a dog recently and with it sleeping in the house, my itchy eyes and stuffy nose got worse and my wife developed similar symptoms plus headaches. We did our research and opted for the Phillips 2000i. After a big clean out in living and bed rooms, we put it to work two weeks ago. Wow, fantastic night's sleep followed. Both my wife and I had the best nights sleep for years and that has been similar since then. The air is as clean as outside (we live in the country) and both of us now have clear eyes, noses and heads in the morning. Same every night since! Wonderful relief! Running it at night on Sleep mode it is virtually silent, same on Automatic. On normal speed you hardly notice it in quiet surroundings. Only on Turbo is it a bit loud, but when it clears a large room of both dust and allergens in under 15 minutes, nd then you can switch down to Automatic, who is going to worry about that! I have strongly recommended it to my grown up son and daughter, both of whom keep pets. Shop around, we bought it for under the rrp. Super quiet. Efficient. Ran this in my bedroom first night i had it. As it does an air quality test first up it showed it wasnt too good. high numbers. Left it on all night. Best nights sleep in ages. It removed all the particles in the air and provided a good sleep. Works really well
I put it on and left the room. I came back in 10 minutes and it even smelt cleaner. I dusted around it and soon the fan increased to deal with the added dust. It's too early for a better review, but so far it seems to work great. It's very quiet on sleep mode or automatic mode, so there is no issue in let it turned on during the night if using it at the bedroom.
