My favorite coffeemaker brand
We've had 4 Bunn coffeemakers. I obviously like them. This one is a little different than the last 2. The lid is just a little harder to screw on but not enough to lower the rating. We're so used to the speed of Bunns we can't go back to another brand. I also like the thermo carafe - no need for another to pour the hot coffee in. Check your needs for when and where you want your coffee this pot doesn't fit them all it has limits
This coffee maker uses twice the coffee grounds my automatic maker used. So in the long run it's going to cost you more to run. I didn't realize this is not an automatic coffee maker, my bad so aside from the extra coffee I'm going to have to buy. You need to keep this pot plugged in all the times to keep reservoir water warm. You'll hear this pot on occasion re-heating the stored water so also more expense added to your electric bill. For on the go person looking to take coffee and go I do not recommend this maker. For a stay at home or active office it would be a better fit. IT does make good tasting coffee and does stay warm for quite awhile considering it doesn't have a keep warm plate either.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simplicity

Love my Bunn!
I can't say enough about my new Bunn Thermal coffee maker. My last Bunn lasted 15 years, and is still working, but My husband got the Thermal coffeemaker for me for Mother's Day and it is great. Nice looking and makes great coffee quickly
Brews quickly and keeps coffee hot. I purchased it for my RV and am completely satisfied. It is nice looking but uses just a little more counter space compared to my regular glass Bunn Coffee Pot. It is very convenient not having to use an additional carafe to keep the coffee hot. The Good Bad and The Ugly
It does brew quickly , makes hot coffee and stays hot thanks to the insulated carafe. The on-light is difficult to see. The top fill cover needs to stay up otherwise it will just start brewing immediately and takes a good 15 minutes to warm up before it makes hot coffee. It only makes 8 cups and takes a few tries to get the right amount of coffee to make a decent pot.
