Smart and simple
Great little set of radios, with plenty of functionality. Have tested these on bushwalks and found them to be reliable, long-lived, with solid signal/audio and comfortably portable. There is more functionality than we'll probably ever use, and the documentation could be a bit clearer in place (like what works and what doesn't when in lock-mode). Talk button need attention.
The sound quality is ok for the price range. The distance is not so important as these units are for non pro use. However if you don't squeeze the talk button really hard, transmission will be broken & the other party can't hear you properly. Serious problem need to be fixed by manufacturer. Good little radios.
