  • Amazing Fitness and Training Tool

Way more features that I imagined. I recommend purchasing the bundle with heart monitor if you're really interested in fitness riding. All of the metrics this unit can provide are great for determining your overall performance. I especially like the climb pro and the heart rate optimal scrolling graphs. It also provides the standard measurements such as calories burned, average speed, cadence, hill ascent/descent, etc. But it also provides hydration and calories consumed requirements which is something I never really considered before. This device is so much more than a GPS, it's a total training and fitness tool that will help you gain control of your overall training regimen. It even let's me know when I'm receiving a call on my phone! There is a bit of a learning curve especially with setting up the "data fields" and customizing the display screens. However, once you have what you want it's a one-and-done operation. There are numerous YouTube videos that detail how to configure and tailor the device to your specific needs. Also, there are other add-ons such as radar detection that alerts you of approaching traffic from behind. I haven't made that purchase yet but I am considering it. Safe travels.

  • Great product, once set up super easy to use!

Edge 530 works really well. A little clunky to set up activity screens but in my experience all Garmin GPS products have been

  • Steps 2 and 3 in migrating to Garmin ecosystem.

Still learning it. The interface has to be learned, not exactly intuitive. Finally got speed sensor connected. Still trying to figure out how the HRM dual band works with it. I can tell I'm going to love the navigation. I feel like I could do all this with my huge phone but this does what's needed better and in a much smaller package, (doesn't look like a Kindle mounted on my handlebars). Instead of a big mount holding my big phone it's a nice clean fork stem spacer mount, just looks and works great.

  • Build quality is phenomenal

Definitely a nice upgrade from the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. The resolution on the screen is way better (in my opinion) than the Bolt, plus it has a colored display, and you can adjust the brightness settings desired, unlike the Wahoo devices. Having the Garmin ecosystem work together is the main selling point for me. I have the Garmin Forerunner 945, and managing 2 devices with the same Garmin Connect application is very convenient. Although, I do wish that Garmin would improve the application for end users.

  • 530 best gps unit

Garmin 530 wow, I am impressed, the display is clear than ever, the process are super fast when you start a task, still not sure about the durability of the battery, but from last 24 hrs decrease from 100% to 89% with one indoor session, nice upgrade from my 130 to this unit. Got some lack of connectivity with the Neo Tacx 2 on initial setup but nothing to worry about it. best upgrade for my cycling training block!

  • Great Bike GPS

Have had a chance to use this indoors on a very basic wheel on trainer, paired with a Garmin speed/cadence sensor and outside navigating in an unfamiliar city. This GPS was easy and intuitive to use and worked flawlessly in both applications. Love it and highly recommend.

  • If you are serious about fitness and looking for a comprehensive monitor, this is it.

This computer is very informative and captures an abundance of data that I couldn't imagine even existed. Way more capable fitness monitoring than any piece I've ever seen or used. The only complaint is the bottom & side locations of the buttons and their lack of prominence.

  • 530

Seems to do everything you would want or need.. screen is great and easy to read… not a lot of fun to program and set up.

  • Garmin 530

Great device. I upgraded from a 520. The 530 has a noticeably faster processor, improved screen and resolution, more screen real estate, tons more functions!

  • Roadie

For $100 less than the 830 it is an excellent value. The touch screen of the 830 would be preferable, for the same functionality at the lower price it was the better choice.
