    Very good price and features

    Excellent as a Range Extender for 2.4 Ghz band on a network. Unit is almost 60 feet from originating source (Asus 3200 RT router). Keeps a strong signal for TV, computers, and phones. Plus, there is an Ethernet port if you ever want to hardwire the device.

    Unable to set up and use!

    Research state... "Easy Set Up - 2 Simple taps and you are ready to connect, smart indicator light helps to install in best optimal location!" That was why I ordered it, looking for a device that a senior citizen could easy set up and use. So far unable to set up, will have to ask some one if they can set it up. Not good value, etc. if you are unable to use it

    Worth the money

    After having buffering issues with movies on Roku and Dish On Demand, I decided to purchase one of these to see if it would help. I can honestly say that after installation, the buffering problem has been 95% eliminated. It has not completely disappeared, but the occasional 1 to 2 second delay is much more tolerable than the 20 to 30 second delay before purchase. Installation took about 5 minutes and was super easy. I would recommend this item.

    Good Wifi range extender

    Increases the range of my router that is about 125 ft from my computer and wifi instruments. Easy to set up using the Tether app that is down loaded free from the Apple store. Programmed to address your regular and 5G network and in addition your extended and 5 G extended networks for easy distribution amongst the house participants and any guests you have in the house. Uses one plug in out in the house that indicates if it is in range with the router through a green light. If it is out of range it will indicate red and must be located closer to the router.

    Works good

    This item performs. It easy to use and connects quick to the router. Setup can be completed on less than 10 minutes. You can also change the ssid or leave it the same and option to hide ssid broadcast from the Web page. The only thing I did not like is the password had to remain the same as the router.

    Small, simple, easy to set up via app, and it works just fine

    It works fine for us. As a refurb, I was a little disappointed that it was not also reset electronically. It arrived configured for the previous user's network. None the less, I realized that quick and it was easy to reset. Once I did that, setup with the app on my iPhone was simple and it covered the deadzone in the house just fine.

    Better than expected

    Bought this item just cause there was a few dead spots in the house. With it installed works much better now. Only drawback you have to change the network your connected to. If your in one location for a long time that would be great but I move around a lot so switching back and forth is my only first world problem.

    No big deal

    My wifi router (serviced at 500 mbs at 2.4 G) is situated about 15 feet through a wood floor from my computer on the 2nd floor (with a corresponding speed of 30 mbs) . I installed the link half way beneath the floor to boost the signal. The end result is about 30 mbs. It makes absolutely no difference. My tech. buddies all said that my choice of booster was excellent; and are puzzled about not seeing any improvement. I tried locating the booster above the floor and got the same result.

    Great Wifi Extender at Any Price!

    Full disclosure, I did have a little trouble with the setup. I followed the quick set-up instructions and for some reason that I don't understand, this messed up the settings on my DD-WRT wireless router. But once I reset that, I went through the set-up procedure again and all was well. This TP Link extender now gives me an "Excellent" signal in the far end of my ranch home opposite of where the router is installed. Haven't had a hiccup since! I chose this unit because f a CNet article I read comparing this unit to some other more expensive units, and this one out performed them all. So far, it comes as advertised!
