  • Best power supply

I bought this for a mining rig, sorry gamers. This AX1600i achieves it's maximum efficiency at around 35% load, and it stays near the 94%-95% level until it's outputting 1300w. Then it only goes down a percent. This beast holds up to my 6-GPU mining rig. The AX1600i is smaller than the EVGA T2 1600 and the older Corsair AX1500i. It's maybe a little bit larger than the HX1200, but not noticeable. This would be a good power supply for a loaded gaming rig or workstation that has a Threadripper or a Core i9 X-Series processor and a couple high end video cards, along with a custom loop. You can really go wrong here since the power draw of a system like that is going to be high. The only downside is you'd have to use over 20% load to achieve decent efficiency. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is using anything less than 800w while gaming, processing, rendering, or mining. Check the independent reviews for the AX1600i, it's the best of the best.

  • A ton of power.

A bit on the expensive side but it is the best out there at the moment.
