  • Awesome bag with some quirks.

The whole reason I wanted this bag was to be able to access all my gear without setting it on the ground, it gets a 10/10 for that. I can fit my d750 with Nikon 200-500 attached on one side and all my other lenses can fit in the dividers in the middle compartments and other side. I love how you reconfigure the bag when switching lenses for example, I take off my 200-500 and put on a 20mm I can flip down a diver to accommodate lens and body still attached. A couple quirks I ran into was that the top of the bag is a gaping hole where if you have lenses at the top they will surely be flopping around because there’s nothing to hold them in place. I fixed this by putting a accessory pouch at the top with some Velcro attached to fill in the gap, this works perfectly and can be removed if you happen to need the top to store a jacket etc. I wish peak design would include a way to snap in the tech pouch or some way to store extra accessories at the top of the bag. Another quirk is the side pockets tend to be a little high, this is good in that you can stuff a water bottle in and it won’t come out, the pockets are pretty deep. It’s bad because when the bag is on your shoulders you have to contort your arm to grab the bottle out of the pocket, you’re better off lowering the bag first or whipping it around to get it out. Personally I don’t want to have to fiddle with my bag just to get a drink of water really quick. Other than that I love the bag it’s perfect for what I need the materials are high quality I love all the anchor points I can use to clip on a flash light or Bluetooth speaker and it just looks so damn good!

  • love it. amazing bag!

I already have the 20L V1, so i had to get the 30L for my travels and whenever i need to bring more equipment. I love all of the PD products. Can't wait to take this bag on my new trip.
