Great Features for a Great Price! Doesn't Sing or Dance...just does what it's supposed to do.
I have two of these and another thermostat that operates my central air...when comparing the numbers it seems these little units are quite accurate. The cost is cheap and they can sit up on their own on a flat surface or you can use the magnet that comes attached to the back. There is no slot on the back for hanging it up with a screw or nail and no light up feature for use in darker environments...for me that's not a big deal but if there are any cons that's all I can think of. Use is easy....really don't need the instructions...comes with a battery and you can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius with one easy button on the back. Disappointing
Wildly inaccurate. Airconditoner says 74 degrees this device says 77. I tried it in various locations in the room to try and understand if a lamp, or a sofa was interfering with it's' sensors. Ultimately, this thing is just useless. If I can see such ridiculous variance in temperature, I can hardly trust the humidity measurements. Works great and shows historical highs.
I tested the accuracy by leaving it sitting out and checking with Alexa for humidity levels. This device was pretty close. I have been using this in my coin safe along with a dehumidifier that uses moisture absorbing beads. I really like how it shows the highest humidity level with a separate display. Really good product, bought it to measure the room humidity mainly, the central air going into winter really dries out the atmosphere. I use an evaporative humidifier and this unit is very accurate for both temp and humidity. No controls, just units of measurement, and none needed. Compact design with lots of features
I purchased this hygrometer to measure and monitor humidity levels in my finished basement. I put it in various areas of the basement to obtain the read outs. The house is new so all the levels were consistent. This device works very well and displays high and low levels for reference. Has a magnet on the back so it can be mounted on something metal if needed. I will be buying a few more for the garage and put one above the house thermostat to check its accuracy.
