Grace has been left with a manor on the Cornish coast - and a mountain of debt. Now, with creditors and repossessors at her heels, Grace is faced with the prospect of losing everything. When asked to tend an ailing, if illicit, plant belonging to her caretaker Matthew she gets an outrageous idea. Why not use her renowned green thumb to make some serious money and pay off her debts?     Enjoyable light weight movie with a good cast and wonderful scenery. Interesting to see Martin Clunes in the role that led to the Doc Martin series.

    The inspiration for Doc Martin

    I believe this was the inspiration for Doc Martin Vol 1 & 2 and later the series. Some of the characters in this movie filmed in Port Isaac (Port Wenn in the series) also appear in the movie. Not a bad movie and quite entertaining too.
