Nano Breaker is a hack-n-slash game that has the user take control of an experimental cyborg. In the future, Nanomachines have rebelled against mankind and has taken control of humans, turning them into horrible half-machines/half-human creations, bent on delivering Armageddon to humans. The player must stop them at all costs. The gameplay is basic, travel through levels, hack at enemies using button mashing combos, facing bosses at the ends of the levels. The main weapon of choice is a Plasma Blade which has the ability to change shape. It also has a Time Attack mode along with the standard Story mode.

NanoBreaker is designed to offer fast-paced combat action in a distant sci-fi future. Once an incredible boon to all human endeavors, microscopic nano-machines have begun to harvest the blood of their hosts in order to construct an army of killer machines. Players take control of humanity's last hope -- a mechanically augmented warrior who wields a transformable plasma blade weapon. It will take quick reflexes and good technique to stave off the seemingly endless advance of enemy units deployed by the nanotechnology, but the cyborg hero must prevail. Blast from the Past
Cutscenes are fun to watch and bosses are hard to beat. Most fun come from slicing and dicing your foes in halves. Really fun to watch your sword changes into different shapes ,sizes and colors by commanding certain combos.
