Product Information
The need for speed is only satisfied by the crazed, looping, and twisting antics of a unicycle in "Uniracers." This Super Nintendo game was developed by the minds at DMA Design and published by Nintendo. The concept of "Uniracers" is purely to get the gold medal. Whether you're racing or pulling off tricks, you're either going home with the gold or just going home. This Nintendo title is best described as being part of the racing genre. You'll begin "Uniracers" by picking out your unicycle. There are over 10 different unicycles to choose from, each with a different color. Every unicycle controls the same and has the same statistics, so just select your favorite color. Each vehicle has a preset name attached to it, such as Mike or Amy. However, you can change this name to whatever you want, such as Mario, in the Options menu. After selecting your vehicle and name, it's time to race. "Uniracers" for the SNES features an extremely robust single-player mode. There are 45 different tracks to race on split into nine tours. No two courses play the same. Each tour has four tracks each. In addition, each tour also has three different medals you can win. Win every stage on bronze, and you open up the silver challenge. Complete that to unlock the gold challenge. Each consecutive medal increases the difficulty of the course, which includes making your opponent faster.Learning the courses in "Uniracers" is of the utmost importance. As you race, the ground underneath you is color-coded. Each color corresponds to a particular feature on the track. For example, a yellow track means this route is a secret shortcut that will give you an advantage in the course. A purple track indicates a section that will slow you down if you cycle over it. During a level, you can pull off stunts while you're in the air. These stunts range from flips to twists. Each stunt you successfully complete will give you a speed boost. Being successful at "Uniracers" for the SNES is about chaining together multiple stunts without wiping out. This SNES game divides its stages into three different game types. In the head-to-head mode, you'll face off against an opponent from point A to point B. In the lap-based mode, you'll loop around a course three to seven times. In the stunt mode, you'll need to obtain a specific number of points before the timer expires. When you've finished the single-player campaign, you can play this SNES game against your friends. In the Vs. mode, you and a buddy will go head to head to see who will be the victor. In the League mode, eight players will pass the controller to see who can achieve the fastest time. The colorful racing gameplay of this Super Nintendo title is suitable for all ages. Both adults and children will love the challenge and fun this game offers.Product Identifiers
