Easily the best value all around.

As of May 2020, the Oculus Quest is the best value and most versatile VR headset on the market. It works standalone for its own very wide array of apps and games, has inside out tracking that doesn't require external sensors, and works perfectly as a PC VR system when plugged into a compatible USB port with compatible high quality USB cable. Half the cost of an Index with almost all of the features, and access to the same library of games if not a larger one.

    Great Product - Bad Company

I love the Quest. I don’t need to rave about it. You can find that info anywhere. But it is now a Facebook product. You MUST have a Facebook account. Yes some oculus accounts are still connected but that is ending soon. I bought this as a replacement when my old one was damaged. But once they fuller require Facebook, me and my friends will switch to a different VR system. But we’re still saving for that right now. If you have a choice go with some other brand. Don’t let Facebook get another marketing Avenue into tour life.

  • Interesting Machine

The Oculus is quite different than any other console, so the novelty alone is enticing. Once the machine is running, you are transported to a brand new reality, which is incredible. The visuals are solid although the resolution is nowhere near the Sony PS4 Pro (4K), but again, it is a completely different animal. The controls are intuitive, and the game play is smooth. My kids were so excited to try it, and they played it consistently for about two weeks. After that, it began collecting dust. Why? Not sure. Maybe the "isolation" of playing alone got boring. When you play, you are completely separated from everyone else, so it's difficult to share in the joy of the conquest. While the Oculus is nicely built and high quality, the price was not worth the investment.

  • Oculus quest my experience

If you do not have a vr ready graphics card in your computer then get this. Also do not do any rollercoaster vr you will get motion sickness. Also what i did to salve motion sickness was drink canada dry ginger ale all the time. This helps stop motion sickness also if you feel the sweats coming on remove some clothing to cool off or wear shorts and no shirt and turn on ac. Also games like journey if the gods can give a bit of motion sickness. Just continue to drink ginger ale. Also get a battery pack type c port and velcro and velcro a power bank to the back with a type c to type a usb cord to charge the oculus quest while you play so the main batter last longer. Also buy rechargeable AA batteries because the controllers take AA batteries 1 battery in each controller. Also have good lightning for the controllers to have good tracking. The most fun games for me is vader immortal 3 in the dojo section and space pirate trainer. Journey of the gods is unique and awesome. Also the wizards is awesome game with magical powers you can upgrade. The fps is fine. The games make the graphics most of the time. It is not really the. R headset because i was looking at oculus quest vs valve index and oculus rift and i cant really see any terrible graphics unless the game itself is just not made from awesome rendering software. Hope this helps.

  • Good upgrade until something better comes out

Coming from a Rift cv1, not a huge difference in tracking from a for sensor setup, I can't do things out of view but I never did anyways. Visual fidelity is nice with the resolution bump. And only needing one cable for Oculus link is great.

  • Lovin' My Headset and Accessories As A First Timer

Until a couple of weeks ago, I had never used or even tried VR before. I've been wanting to jump into the VR world since the 80's but was just waiting for VR to get far enough for me to feel it was worthwhile spending my money on and not having to purchase another updated device the following year as the Oculus Quest updates the software within the headset without extra cost or expense. Boy, oh boy am I having FUN :D The VR headset is also pretty comfortable. I figure in large part to the counter balance so that the headset sits properly on my head without pressing down too much on the front of my face. When using the headset for more than 30 min or so, I will still have differing degrees of indents and marks left on my face (dependent on the length of time for usage) but the headset is comfortable. The link cable I've used a couple of times but don't need it mostly. The cable works well but can get in your way dependent on what game or app you are using so really happy with my purchase of the Oculus Quest so that using the link cable isn't necessary most times.

  • Love the product.

This item was great, easy set up and and feels great in hand. I paid a little more than I wanted, but for the extra $80.00 I'm really glad I did. Can't wait to hook it up to the computer and see some of the other games. I would recommend this game to everyone of all ages and for the price you can't get a set up and great as this one. Have fun if you get this product, cause I know I am.

  • Its freedom from having to connect to an expensive PC far outweighs the slight difference in video quality.

It has an immersive quality that takes television and computers to an entire new level. The video quality is close enough to systems that require connections cabled to expensive PCs that there is no need to look for anything better. Not yet, anyways. Do be careful of vertigo. A few minutes at a time is about all I was able to stand at first, but it is getting easier.

  • Awesome VR and great games. Fun for the whole Family.

The Oculus Quest VR Headset has been awesome. There are some great Beat Saber songs and levels. The Fit beat really gets the blood pumping. It has been keeping the whole family entertained in Quarantine. There is boxing, a roller coaster and even a Haunted House that non of us has been able to get through because IT IS SCARY!!
