Bruce Brown, the director, photographer and narrator of one of the world's most renowned surfing cult film. The 3 month odyssey began in California and followed the surf to Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii and back to California. Bruce took with him two young Californian surfers, Mike Hynson and Robert August. The film took two years to complete.
