The way to go!
I looked at lots of holders with many different designs and decided partly based on reviews that this was the way to go. At first I really wanted the AC vent holder but changed my mind thinking about how often we use AC and this would block air flow which is important in FL summers. After receiving this one it was apparent that is it a quality product with great features. I installed the sticky pad for the dash after cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol and then installed the holder. I have a ZTE Axon 7 and my wife has a Galaxy Note 3 and both fit this perfectly. The adjustments are easy to make to insure ease of access and ease of viewing. I also tried removing the holder when not in use and the removal is as easy as placement. We have a 2007 Dodge Ram1500 pickup and it fits and works great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great design and concept, however not very durable
I love this product for how easy it is to mount my phone for navigation/music and etc, however I have to give it a 3 stars because of the durability of the item. I have ordered 3 of these so far within the past year due to some parts of the mount breaking. The small plastic hinges broke on the first item and then the pad that clicks when you insert the phone broke on my second purchase. I still bought a third one though since I just can't find anything else to replace it with. Overall would have been an amazing product if it didn't break so often. Not cheap but it works and sticks to any dash without damage
I do love this holder. It isn't cheap but it works and that is what matters as most of them will not stick to the dashboard. It wont damage it either. And if you take it off you can wet the surface and massage it a little, let that dry and then stick it again like it's brand new. Excellent Mount
I really don't care for dash and window mounts, generally. I ordered this one because it was recommended as a good sturdy mount. It is! Much sturdier than other options I have tried. The only thing I found was that the dash mount pad they send with it wouldn't stick to my dash. I ended up using the sticky suction cup on the unit. It sticks very well and have had no issues thus far. I do take it off occasionally to be sure it hasn't done any damage. My New Favorite Universal Mount
I use a lot of different camera, phone, and video devices. Often, it is either convenient or necessary to mount them. Securely. Over the years, I've tried handfuls of different holders, mounts, etc. and none of them really impressed me. They worked, but, not great. That changed when I got the iOttie Easy One Touch 3 V2.0. I randomly stumbled across a review for smartphone mounts, and was actually wow'd at the design and mechanics of this mount system. After some thought, I knew that not only would it hold/mount my phone, it would also hold/mount some of my other devices such as action cams, mini/micro FPV cams, GPS device, etc. And I was right. I holds and mounts them perfectly! The clamping mechanism is extremely simple to open and close, and the grip is very secure. Once installed, I have no worries about a device falling out. And I was harsh when testing that. Also, and very importantly, the base/mount-suction/mount - with the 'sticky disk'.. Awesome.. The sticky disk is an amazing added touch. It even stuck to porous surfaces [on a dash] Before even flipping the switch to activate the suction cup, the mount was stuck. Nice.. After the suction cup was activated, there was no moving the base from the mounting surface.. I tried sliding and pulling up/out, and the base stayed put. Very impressive. Overall, I am extremely happy that I found a mount/holder that I can actually trust. I highly recommend these mounts/holders, and with no hesitation, rate this five-stars! Great options with placement
This is so much improved since the original Ottie which I've used for about 5-6 years. I flipped it around so I could extend it toward me for easier viewing and it is so nice to be able to look at the screen without much loss of my view of the road ahead of me. Easy to Install, but a little small for the iPhone 6S
The holder is easy to install, stays secure on my dash, and can be re-positioned pretty easily, but I find it just a touch too small to hold the iPhone 6s plus. Seems a little over half is above the holder and when touching the screen, the phone does move, and I wind up having to push the back into the holder. Best car mount on the market
I went through a couple of $10 mounts, within 5 or 6 month, so I decided not to go so cheap again. I only paid $25 and have had this mount for more than a year and it has no signs of wear. It works just as good as the day I bought it. Also, the cheap mounts kept falling off of my windshield but this mount has never fallen off.
