Good item that makes all the difference when fitted
If you need a vin plate as many owners do of elderly motorcycles due mainly to the ravages of time or due to damage done while removing for powder coating then then these are super .They look the part when fitted and look so much better than a mangled mess or none at all.A little mechanical aptitude is needed along with a good sharp drill bit. The plate arrives flat of course and the owner needs to ad the bend to fit snug around the frame.I bent it around some steel tubing i had lying around.Its more scary than difficult but as i really did not want to do damage i made a huge job of it. I covered the plate with masking tape then bent the plate between a metal tube same size as frame and some plastic tube split in half to form a mould. I did say i over did things. No matter what method you use do not rush and the results will be great .I would happily buy again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
