Panasonic - only lithium to get
After having purchased numerous 18650 batteries from various manufacturers, nobody beats Panasonic for capacity. Many others claim all sorts of crazy capacities, but so far all have fallen far short of the Panasonic product. My last set of batteries were for a Verbatim powerbank, which was advertised as 12000 mah, containing 4 cells. I assumed that was achievable and at the high Verbatim price trusted they would perform. Not so. They contained Samsung cells labelled as 3000 mah per cell and the pack had a sticker of 12000 mah on it. Testing its capacity it was just short of 7900. Putting 4 Panasonics in there, it has now a 12600 mah capacity, better than static. The worst cells I ever tested were Ultrafire. Labelled at 3200 mah they barely managed to produce 800.
