The Nikon N50 35mm SLR Film camera offers accurate control of the image process. AutoFocus or manual focus while the shutter speed and aperture are already set due to the innovative image technology Nikon has provided. With features like automatic activation of the viewfinder illuminator when the exposure meter is on and the matrix light metering advancement that reads reflected light, your pictures will display the highest quality. For reliability, accuracy, and photographs of which you will be proud, this is the camera body with the best of everything to make that happen. The N50 features a dot matrix LCD panel with large, easy to read display so no need for eye strain. It also has a built in automatic flash to insure proper illumination and use one 6V 2CR5 lithium battery for pictures on the go.

    Back to Basics, with a Few Perks.

    Nikon went back to the drawing board for this Consumer offering, trying to institute many of the things they included in many of its Prosumer line. Though lacking the robust construct, with Titanium frames, and glass-filled outer shell, it does have many of the most widely-used functions of their big brothers without the hefty stickers. No it won't survive a lengthy fall, but hopefully you purchased the licensed Nikon strap, and don't go slinging your gear around. This bare-bones SLR won't leave you unhappy, unless you forgot to carry a spare battery along, as there is no manual operation available. A fine shooting camera provided you don't need blazing shutter speeds, high frames a second, nor replaceable viewing screens.
