GOOD SEAT FOR THE PRICE. - DURABILITY FACTOR STILL OUT AFTER 1 MONTH.

I JUST PURCHASED THIS SEAT LESS THAN A MONTH AGO SO VERDICT STILL OUT ON DURABILITY. I had a heavier seat with a round cushion and I started developing severe sciatic pain down my entire leg. What I like about this throne is that the cushion is kidney-shaped so it fits your buttocks well and gives support. No more sciatic irritation! I am a keyboard player, and it does have a frame for your guitar. A nice feature is that the back rest can be put in the holder either direction so I turn the guitar stand to the back of me, and it's out of my way. (You can detach this feature also but I chose not to do that.) The only concern that I do have wit this seat is that I am hopeful that with tiny screws holding it together that it will last up! With my other stool, even though it was built super sturdy and heavier, the seat fixtures underneath were flimsy, and as you leaned your weight from left to right eventually caused the screws to dis-lodge. So I ended up taking the seat apart, using the former as a template and cutting a new piece of wood to the same measurements and then reassembling the seat. Overall, the seat is very firm and a concern at first, but I have found that by the end of the gig, my back and butt suffered no discomfort.

Well made, needs some more adjustment options

Well made, I found it a bit high compared to a typical rotating top bar stool I had been using (so took about 2” off the legs) and back rest (reason I had bought it for) too high (drilled another hole to bring it down towards lumbar area)...oh, and the foot rest a bit low also (put another bar about 3” higher). But once I made adjustments, working fine :)

  • Best item for the traveling solo acoustic performer

I have been performing an acoustic set for sometime now and I have to lug a stand, stool, the guitar and I take a tablet for a cheat sheet and requests. This cuts most of my lugging in half and the seat is comfortable. I love the fact I can just bring 3 things to my gigs and have the peace of mind that I don't loose track of a stand or the stool. I mean seriously I would never forget my guitar but a guitar stand is easily misplaced or someone confiscates your stool and then the bar now has an extra stool and you left without your stool. These things may sound silly but when being a performing musician and not having people working for you keeping track of your stuff it's easy to have stuff go missing. This item molds two things into one and makes the gig easier and it's comfortable! So all around just a great product.

  • Nice practice chair...👍🏾.

Nice chair, the only thing stopping me from giving it a five star review is, it doesn't seem to be as stable as I'd like. It comes with a nice guitar/bass stand, cushioned seat & back, it's lightweight and has fold and store technology. Provides comfort for hours of rehearsal time. Great value.

  • Nicely designed portable guitar stool/stand.

Strong and hopefully durable. The guitar stand is a plus because, but the protective cover on the stand is already showing signs of wear and it's only been used less than a dozen times. For me the height of the seat and foot foot rest could be another 3 or 4 inches higher, I'm 5'10". Overall it is a decent product which I would recommend, especially if you have a torn rotator cuff.

  • A GREAT, truly portable Musicians stool!

This is the solution for those wanting the MOST portable and useful stool to bring to gigs. My old one, is easily twice the weight, and does not fold down into a manageable size. It also took up a lot of room on my equipment cart. All this stuff really matters when loading in and out! This one, when the backrest is removed, folds to a really convenient, and portable size...the back is easy to remove and place anywhere on the top of the cart, or in between other gear. The back, can be adjusted for a tight fit, or a comfortable fit against your back, with one knob! The built in guitar stand is a very clever and useful feature. The footrest bar seems to have been placed in the perfect position for guitar and bass players. Time will tell if this holds up under regular gig use. I see no reason why it shouldn't.

  • Quality seat, but it’s quite tall

I’m 5’9 and without a foot stool under both feet it’s much too tall. I’m debating sawing 2 inches off of each leg. Then it will fit me without the milk crate under my feet. Other than that it is very comfortable and well made. Taller people will have no problem

  • Strong and Stable

If I am going to put all of my weight on something without having my feet on the floor, I want strength and stability. It has both of those. For personal sizing, I used a tubing cutter and shortened the legs by one inch! Piece of cake! Excellent!

  • Great value for a fantastic guitar stool

The guitar chair is very study, really like the back rest. I also like it as it can be used for performing if you do so. Otherwise it will fit fine in your guitar room. I had been looking for a chair like this and I am glad I landed on this one. It is just as described and super comfortable. I actually wished it was just a tad shorter, not the chairs fault, just my own height :-)

  • Chair height is not for everyone

The chair sits up high and it's not adjustable. That makes is uncomfortable for short people under 5 feet 6". The seat was made to be used while practicing the guitar and if you're not comfortable when sitting, it's useless. The seat is small and the back rest moves around, so it's uncomfortable trying to sit back with your legs dangling in the air. This product is not meant for short people.
