This is an excellent pro camera. User interface is easy from the standpoint of location of various controls; functionality takes longer to learn, as so much is offered on camera. I'm extremely happy with it's features, performance and image quality.

I initially knew what I was signing up for when I purchased this. thus being said, this camera is awesome! However, with it being used makes me wonder why when I sometimes turn on the camera my screen is blank until I have to select through the setting all over again just to get back to where I was before hand.

Second 5DMIII
I love doing semi-professional photography and typically carry 2 cameras. Sometimes using both with different lens or at least having one in the bag as a backup. I only had one full frame camera, another 5DMIII, and 2 other cropped sensor canons. The 5DMIII is a great camera, takes amazing pictures and the cost to own one is coming with mirrorless camera's becoming the trend. Having a second 5DMIII to pair with all my "L" glass is awesome!

Best AF I have used. Very high ISO. I constantly am using 800-1600 with extremely low noise, which is why I can use long lenses with 5.6 or 6.3 aperture. Embrace the Mirror.
