Spectacular...!
These headphones are far superior to anything else I've tried. Obviously they're pricier than some others, but given the breathtaking noise cancelling, all the 'intelligent' features and quality of build, [for me] they cannot be beaten. The headset it self is quite understated. It's very simple and yet stylish [I bought the Silver which is actually more like a camel or dark beige]. It has a handful of features built in with only two buttons to operate several functions, so it has a very clean, sleek, minimalist look. They're very comfortable, lightweight, foldable and fully adjustable with a metal band for extra rigidity and strength. The ear cups are firm but soft and they're tilted forward slightly to better cover your ears 'completely'. They also swivel and twist a little for better fit/comfort. So now for the many 'Intelligent' parts: It has a proximity sensor built in to the left ear cup, so when you're listening to music it will pause if you remove the headset and continue when you put them back on. The right ear cup has 'touch sensors' which handle all the usual operations [play/pause music, previous/next song and up/down volume, answer/hangup calls]. These swiping operations can be a little tricky to get used to but once you do, it's so very cool to use. A neat feature is if noise cancelling is on and someone wants to talk to you, you just place your hand completely over the right cup and it lowers the music and opens the microphone so you can communicate with removing the headset at all...how cool is that. Besides the headset itself being so amazing the accompanying Sony app gives you a multitude of custom and added features that are too many to list here...look it up. Anyway, obviously I have developed a very strong, almost emotional feeling towards these headphones and I cannot stress how staggeringly impeccable these headphones are. So, if you're budget can stretch just that little bit further [mine had to], it is truly worth the expense for the experience [for me anyway]. Even more in love with Sony now. Thank you.

Very expensive and superb ANC and sound quality, but some annoying as well as some clever features
The noise cancelling is superb. The battery life is excellent. The dual bluetooth connections don't work that well - the second connection often does not work properly. It would be better if the Sony Headphones app was available for Windows 10. Having to run that on my phone just to be able to control how the headphones work with my aptop, is annoying and not well implemented to work with Your Phone on the laptop. The right headphone volume touch control does not work in Zoom or Teams - you have to manually control the headphone volume using yur mouse within that application. This is quite annoying. Amazing.
Amazing noise cancelling headphones. Comfortable design, multiple sound options depending on if you want to block out the world or still be alert to your surroundings. I’ve used at the gym and running and just round the home and I love them. My only qualm is that if you haven’t got a big head (for lack of a better word!) and the headphones fit on the tightest adjustment then when you do anything requiring head movement or quick movements then they do shift - such as Zumba, ab exercises, burpees, yoga - anything where your head goes from up to towards the ground. Save, go XM3 instead
Save a few dollars go the XM3. The “take off the ear and it will pause your audio” also does not work, at all. You can also hear the loss of the AptX, as a qualcomm tech they probably didn’t want to licence it, but its noticeable. The provided carry bag is nice, airplane adaptor is nice, albe it different to airline provided sockets so, seems useless to me. Stuttering laggy when connected to tv
Sound fine with other sources but choppy stuttering and laggy when I'm connected to the TV. Seems like this is a common issue with lots of mentions and discussion. Like them a lot!
I bought it for noise cancelling on the go and works really well. All these priced noise cancelling headphones are not for high end audiophiles, but aren't designed for that. I haven't had a chance of wearing them for a long period of time, so not sure about comfort.
