Unit arrived without a battery. No default channel maps, which are standard with these meters, were installed. So, after buying a battery, the unit was still a brick as you couldn't tune any frequency without a channel map. However, after downloading software + firmware plus hours of set up, we were eventually able to get the unit operational.
