  • Hard aas nails for any repair

I have a Yugo Mauser rifle that the barrel had worn a groove from the recoil enough to affect its usage. I stripped my rifle down, mixed up the Marine Tex and filled in the gap made from the recoil. When my repairs were done I re-assembled my Mauser and it is as good as new. On the down side I had to bore sight the scope I installed earlier using special mounts that eliminate tapping the receiver, I had experience as to how much Marine Tex to mix from years of using JB Weld-also a good product. I used the release agent on the rear of the barrel so the Marine Tex would not adhere to it. My older brother tipped me off about this product and I am glad he did. i would recommend this product any day!

  • The best epoxy around

I've been using Marine Tex for decades. It's the best repair epoxy that I've ever seen or used. My father also used it. One time, his old Buick gas tank was punctured by a piece of metal. He cleaned the surface and patched it with Marine Tex. It never failed. You can sand it, drill it, actually tap it with a thread. It's very strong and hard setting. Very good adhesion also.

  • Great Product

I have used Marine Tex for over 15 years...It has always done the job and been stronger than needed....1 caution: Grey is actually black...It blends well with white to get the color grey...

  • Works well if you listen to the instructions! No idea why all the talk about "awesome sauce"? It was in the review form and I could not get rid of it!

Great product-have used it for years, and has always worked well! Be sure and clean & prepare the parts right, mix according to the ratio, keep repair area WARM! And don't rush into using-give it the full appropriate curing time!

  • Great

As always the Marine Tex gray is top-notch it's the only thing that I use for bedding my rifles due to the lack of shrinkage over long-term I would recommend it to anyone

  • Taking to long to cure out

I went by the direction and applied as recommended but it still has not got completely hard and it has been seven days. Mixed it by the direction and made sure it was in a 70 to 75 degree room.

  • Epoxy

Your surface has to be clean! And you need to put it on as thick as you can.
