Product Information
Prior to the release of the PlayStation 3, the PS2 proved to be an amazing gaming system, thanks to its realistic graphics and terrific assortment of exciting games. “Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy” has an original release date of August 25, 2009 for the PlayStation 2 for North American gamers. This exciting RPG is the second installment of the insanely popular Mana Khemia roleplaying series. “Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis” is the first game in the saga. Though Gust developed and produced the Japanese version of this PS2 game, NIS America produced the North American version. Both Gust and NIS America are responsible for developing an assortment of interesting anime-style games for the PlayStation 2. This game is also the successor to the Atelier Iris series. The Atelier Iris series is another RPG saga that focuses on the world of alchemy. Gamers who enjoy the Mana Khemia series often like the Atelier Iris games as well. As you start your quest in “Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy,” choose from male or female characters. If you choose the male starter character in “Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy,” you begin gameplay as Razeluxe Meitzen, better known as Raze. The main female character’s name is Ulrika Mulberry. Though these two characters are similar in that they are alchemists, the unique events for Raze and Ulrika provide significantly different gameplay. Even though the basic storyline is similar, the events and characters throughout each character’s storyline are unique to the character. Guide your character around the virtual world and learn valuable alchemy skills to help Raze and Ulrika become advanced alchemists. As you play, you unlock other characters that become playable at certain portions of the game. You have the ability to create your own weapons, accessories, and armor as you play; in order to do so, players must find all of the ingredients for various alchemist recipes. If you create a recipe that you do not need, you can sell your item at the bazaar. Sometimes, you may need the item later in the game. If so, repurchase the item at the bazaar. As you progress throughout the campaign, engage in heated battles with frightening monsters. Throughout the story, you have ability to call in back-up characters for particularly tricky enemies. During the combat sequences, players may use up to three characters to successfully battle the enemy as they expand upon the storyline from “Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis”. With so many amazing characters, it feels like there is an endless opportunity for new gameplay. One interesting characteristic about this game is that there are no specified levels. Instead, players are able to improve their statistics through the use of Grow Books. Grow Books require players to create certain items via alchemy and to obtain certain achievements during battles. The rating for “Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy” is “T” for teens. This means that the game is appropriate for teen gamers or for younger gamers when played under parental supervision.Product Identifiers
