What a beautiful monitor. Supports keyboard brightness controls, has a nice USB 2.0/FireWire 400 hub, and is overall the nicest monitor to sit on my desk. Colors are vivid and accurate, and the monitor is a good size. Works like my own monitor
The only thing that I think could have been better would be the power adaptor as it appears to have a connectivity issue (bad contact) with the monitor. To begin we are Apple fans from the early years and so tend to love the ease of Apple design as a given. It is rare that we find any negatives with Apple form or function. Sometimes when we open a new Apple purchase we oooo and Ah at even the packaging. This screen was researched prior to purchase ( very important) and we knew it had to be a winner from what we were hearing. Well its up and running and being enjoyed for its screen quality as we value where our eyes land for cinematic enjoyment. I found this beauty on eBay for a staggering low price. Even more amazing is the fact that the power supply was included. Now certainly it doesn't compare to the retina screens apple puts out today. But It is beautiful screen never the less, constructed like a tank is a perfect match to my Mac. I'm of the old school, if it ain't broke don't replace it. WHEN YOU HAVE SOMETHING OF VALUE AND QUALITY MADE IT LASTS. My Apple id a mac mini, which I upgraded to 16mg and a super fast chip. Got the Magic Keyboard and Mouse which is awesome. But for the monitor I came across this one and never looked back. I originally thought that I would use this screen temporarily until I got a new screen, but now I don't think so. Great monitors.
We have over 20 Apple monitors here plus several iMacs. That says a lot. Our work is advertising, both print and video. Great until they give up. Pix is of my station where I spend a lot of time. I know it's messy. If you can find a really good one on ebay, you might want to give one a try. And yes, they will work on non-mac computers.

Beautiful Image and Appearance And Built Like a Tank
An excellent monitor and nice addition to a Mac Mini system. Beautiful appearance and image quality as are all Apple products. About the only negative is that due to it's contruction it's quite heavy. Another minor annoyance is the old DVI video connection but that's due to it's age.
