The Ninja Tower has appeared in the middle of the city, and two ninjas have decided to break in. Thus begins the story of Ninja Combat. Up to two players can simultaneously fight their way through the various levels of the game. They must work through each stage's enemies and defeat the level boss before the timer runs down.<br><br>Players have an unlimited supply of shuriken, or throwing stars. They must use these stars to clear out the game's enemy characters and bosses. Certain enemies and in-game objects can be destroyed to reveal power-ups and items. The green and blue scrolls increase the ninja's shooting power and speed, respectively. Other pickups can restore some of the ninja's health. There are also a series of weapons that can be used instead of the default shuriken, such as swords, clubs, axes, and even polearms. <br><br>Players also have access to a full-screen special attack that can be unleashed by charging a special meter. This attack, however, drains an entire block of health. A ninja starts with four blocks of health, and loses them as he's hit. When all four blocks are gone, he dies and is replaced with another ninja. Another way to lose a life is failing to complete a stage before the timer runs out. Players can lose three ninjas before needing to continue.Product Identifiers
