    Works great, I'm pleased.

Works exactly the way I wanted it to work. Streamless wifi connection is now possible anywhere in my house. And it's high speed with a gigabit connection. Keep in mind in order to get gigabit speeds, you must have another Moca bonded 2.0 device on the network. Right now, I just have this one and a Moca 2.0 router, so I'm getting half gigabit speeds. But that's good enough. Some people say it needs a reset every so often, I have yet to have to reset it.

    It Works, but Buggy Firmware

Looked brand new. All the cables and power supply were new. Very pleased with the Seller. It works, but has less wireless range as my old C1000A does. Centurylink has issues with their firmware on these, even with the recent firmware release I updated to. Some values are incorrect and/or missing in the GUI. System log is going a mile a minute with lots of entries, mainly system kernals with Firewall Wan Drops. 99% of Flash memory always being utilized, etc. If you never need or use the GUI for troubleshooting your dsl line status/quality issues and don't care about total Mbits used in a 24hr period it's supposed to keep track of or which DNS server is set by default, it'll most likely serve your needs. For me though, with the firmware bugs, it doesn't meet my expectations and my old C1000A is still a better gateway to use even with its shortcomings. So with that said, I do not recommending this model and give it only 2 stars due to Centurylinks buggy firmware.

  • Refurbished CenturyLink Technicolor modem

Product works as well as the one received by CenturyLink. This one was scuffed up but I was alerted to that in the initial presentation. So far, so good. Receiving same speed as original modem.

  • Works as advertised

We have Verizon Fios service and plugged the WiFi Network Extender into a lan cable that was installed in a weak signal area of our house. The extender works well, the problem has been resolved.

  • Worth it.

This extender offers much better range than the Fios Quantum Gateway Router itself. In my home the Quantum Gateway Router is not in a central location, so its signal at the far side of the house is quite weak. The extender configured itself upon hookup. Now there's a great improvement in the WiFi coverage in my home and this is a much simpler and more elegant solution than the traditional WiFi repeaters I've tried. Great investment.

  • Decent for the money

This modem is definitely what you pay for. It works well enough most of the time and I am able to work from home and do what I need with minimal frustrations. The frustrations are worth sharing, though! Since using it, my internet has become very spotty and the quality of Zoom, Skype, and FaceTime video calls has gone way down. Often my calls get dropped and I lose internet for a few minutes at a time at least handful of times a day. Overall, it does fine for a less expensive VDSL modem, but I think it’s worth paying more money for a higher quality one next time.

  • glad I found this!

Previous Zyxel DSL modem was the probable problem, hours with Century Link couldn't confirm that, so nice to have this refurbished one available (no DSL modems in Seattle big box stores). And this one works! No internet drops since installation (although CL was a pain with that, too), seems to maintain speeds, has good router range.

  • DSL Modem

It works as good as a new Centurylink modem for $70 less. Great product!

  • A superb device.

This is an effective and not too expensive modem/router. I've used this model for several years, including upgrading my connection speed with my isp, and it has operated flawlessly. Just parenthetically, anyone who uses the world "awesome" today should be drawn and quartered. Imagination, people, please.

  • Just like the one CenturyLink charges $10 per month for.

Worked exactly like the one provided by CenturyLink. The power cable was defective but the vender refunded $6 and I ordered a replacement. Remember, you must contact CenturyLink to connect to their system. Using my own modem/router saves almost $10 on my monthly CenturyLink bill.
