Akron AP020 90mm Adhesive GPS Mounting Disc
This adhesive mounting disc is the best one I have used in the last few years. The large diameter size can accommodate many different sizes of mounting suction sizes, gives a great sealing surface. I will keep buying them for all my future needs.

Excellent product
Great product. The 3M Adhesive is fantastic, and it hears to any surface. Mine is set on my dashboard which is grainy and textured and indirect sunlight and it holds my GPS with no problems. The size is perfect being just a little bit larger then the mounting base for my GPS and it does exactly what I needed to do and even a little more. I bought a couple extras for a second mounting site as well as for my son's vehicle for when he borrows it. I'm very pleased all the way around.

adhesuve Suction cup mounting plate for textured dashboard
I have used many dash mounts for cameras, cell phones, GPS devices and all of them only work marginally well when they rely on a suction cup (even the pump up kind that draws a lot more suction then the normal units) the texture or pebbling of the ABS plastic dashboard material will eventually allow some air to seep in and that will eventually cause the suction to be lost and the item will fall off the dash. wide variations in temperature will make that happen even faster. these adhesive plates solve 99.999% of that issue. my experience is that the plates once located and placed, especially if allowed to set up in place with some kind of weight on top of them for 24hrs, will become semi-permanent (yes you can gently pry them up and off the surface without damage). I find that the smooth top surface will allow any suction cup device to adhere now the same as you would expect with glass. My Iphone 6P with a large cantilever mount holds exceptionally well I recently added another to handle the impossible task of holding my Ipad and am impressed how well it does that as well. my take is that if your mount will hold the device, this pad will allow the suction cup on the mount to hold securly to the dashboard. it also compensates for some minor curvature in the dashboard surfaces the the suction cups will not tolerate.

Simple easy solution
It's not as secure as screwed attachment for a gps because suction cups tend to lose vacuum, but for a couple bucks its easier than trying to figure out how to put holes in your dash without getting ugly or possibly putting screws through wires and stuff.

Had a Magellan GPS years ago & the mounting disk on my old truck's dash. Well, just before ditching the old truck, I took the disk off (pretty useless w/minimal stickiness). Ordered these new disks, put them in my new truck & car -- both are staying put just like the original !!

Works fine
Works fine. Always put a weight on top of it and let it sit overnight before using, then you will have no trouble with it ever coming loose. If possible mount on a level surface. Otherwise on a hot day, your navigator will sometimes fall down.
