    Excellent parts quality. Check your assembly before using.

    In a word, these shocks are great. They are very smooth and have an excellent dual-rate design. I installed them on an HPI Savage XS Flux as an upgrade to the stock shocks, and have been very pleased with their performance. My only gripe is in the quality of the assembly. They are sold as pre-built, but in the two sets that I bought there were a few loose parts. On two of the shocks, the nut that holds the piston on the end of the shaft was loose, allowing the piston to move up and down on the shaft. The other two had the lower cap (the one that the shaft passes through) barely threaded onto the shock body. Once these parts were properly tightened and the shocks were filled with oil, however, everything has been smooth sailing. They have survived several crashes and eight foot high jumps, and seem to be as good as new.

    I took my HPI Savage Flux XS to the skate park too some 20 foot vertical jumps landed hard and they just soaked up every jump like it was cake!! I would highly recommend these shocks for anyone wanting to bash and keep on cruising. Also I like the dual spring setup it changed the handling immensely I could not believe the difference it made when it came to handling!

    Have these on all 3 of my slashes, and the Baja Rey! Use slash rear for Baja Rey front, and yeti / score rear for Baja Rey rear. Fronts require proline optional mounting hardware kit for Baja Rey front and slash 4x4 front and rear (nothing needed for slash 2wd).
